Anastasios Photopoulos

Dr. Anastasios Photopoulos was born and raised in Saratoga and graduated locally from Archbishop Mitty High School.  He received his Bachelors of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior and a minor in Managerial Economics from the University of California at Davis.  He completed his Dental Degree at the University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco with honors as a member of Tau Kappa Omega dental society.  He practiced as a general dentist in San Jose and Santa Clara for four years prior to completing advanced speciality training in Endodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he received his Masters in Oral Biology.

Dr. Photopoulos returned to the bay area with his family and maintains a practice limited to Endodontics.  He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, The Santa Clara Dental Society, The California Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists,  and a candidate to become a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.

At Harvard, Dr. Photopoulos was trained to provide the highest care in all disciplines of Endodontics including trauma, pediatric, regenerative, and emergency care.  He did his research on the use of CBCT in Endodontics and currently offers continuing education to doctors that would like to learn more about diagnosis and use of CBCT in their practice.  He has extensive knowledge of anesthesia to provide comfortable care to his patients and strives to provide them with the most current Endodontic treatment procedures.
