Dr. Jolie Goodman-Leibof is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the University of New Mexico and continues to keep up to date on the newest advancements in dentistry through continuing education. She is a current board member for Alameda County Dental Society serves on the Board of Directors at the Berkeley Free Clinic.

 

A California native, she moved to the Bay Area in 2001 to attend college at the University of California, Berkeley, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Having started her path in dentistry 13 years ago at the Berkeley Free Clinic, Dr. Goodman-Leibof is committed to addressing access to oral health care. As an advocate for access to oral health care, she volunteers regularly and has been recognized both locally and nationally for engagement in serving the community. She now serves on the Board of Directors for the Berkeley Free Clinic.

 

Dr. Goodman-Leibof believes that the mouth is the gateway to the body, and that good oral care can lead to better overall health. She believes in educating all of her patients to ensure that they understand every detail of a procedure or treatment, so they are able to make educated decisions regarding their dental care. Recognizing her patients as active participants in the process of oral health, she understands that every individual will have different desires, goals, and expectations. With a background in massage therapy and health education, Dr. Goodman-Leibof has a gentle and caring touch.

 

As a new mom, Dr. Goodman spends much of her time away from dentistry with her family, but manages to find balance for the things that she enjoys: hiking, running, rock climbing, and yoga.
